Witnesses
Documents which require notarising sometimes require one or two witnesses in addition to the Notary. I am unable to provide witnesses and it is therefore important that you arrange to bring along a suitable witness or witnesses to the appointment. The witness must be over 18 and should be unrelated to you and independent. This is something that should be discussed with me before you attend our appointment. For documents to be used in India or South Africa, two witnesses are required. In every case where a witness attends, that witness must bring proof of identity and their address – please also see the information in the tab above, “What you should bring to our meeting”.
